Job Purpose
This position is responsible for the execution of the marketing strategies and plans, particularly with the Agency Banking partners.
Responsibilities
- Execute channel strategies and trade promotions for the agency banking partners to achieve business objectives. Ensure these strategies are in tandem with the positioning and potential of the accounts / channels as described by the business owners.
- Manage a process which ensures effective communication and liaison between Sales, Marketing and other departments in order to optimize key business opportunities.
- Monitor competitive activities and submit monthly report to track frequency and types of promotions taking place in the various trade sectors, documenting such activities for analysis, reporting and future referencing purposes.
- Execute of sales activity programs both on-ground and digital
- Identify, review and create compelling traditional and innovative business-building customer program opportunities in conjunction with customers and Sales, including co-marketing initiatives with licensee partners and present recommendations for stakeholder buy-in
- Assist in identifying and securing new distribution opportunities and merchandising support across key accounts and trade channels
- Support variety of marketing strategies including product launches, and communications efforts, merchandising displays
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partner promotions to determine whether these meet the Company’ objectives, and make recommendations for future promotions
- Liaises with the business heads and provides marketing and promotional support to Sales Officers / Teams to ensure performance of acquisition, cross-selling and retention goals.
- Liaises with the different service channels to ensure that service delivery to Agency Banking are consistent with the established customer value proposition of the business.
- Identifies new business opportunities and strategic alliances with other business partners to enhance the Bank’s competitive positioning as it relates to Agency Banking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Banking & Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing
- At least 2 years relevant work experience in campaigns, marketing, advertising and promotions
- Proficient in all marketing functions such as advertising, promotions, research, merchandising and product development
- Program management skills and ability to work in cross functional teams
