Temporary Full-Time Registered Nurse positions at Terrace Lodge!
Terrace Lodge "the heart of caring and sharing" Terrace Lodge is a 100-bed long-term care home in the Township of Malahide. Situated in beautiful Elgin County, our home features private and semi-private accommodation with 24-hour nursing care. Outdoor areas to relax with family, as well as living and dining areas are available for resident enjoyment.
Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you will be part of a collaborative care team that will provide professional nursing care to residents. As a leader, you will support, supervise and provide guidance to the Personal Support Workers and Registered Practical Nurses within the Home as they provide care to the residents.
What can you expect as an employee?
- Competitive compensation based on experience and years of service. Current 2022 RN salary begins at $35/hr and exceeds up to $49.25/hr
- In addition to your salary, you will receive 13% in lieu of benefits and 4% vacation pay, paid every pay. You will also be offered enrollment in the OMERS pension plan on a voluntary basis, if you do enroll your in lieu of benefits will reduce to 9%

Qualifications
- Must have current Registered Nurses registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Must have current Standard First Aid with CPR Level HCP
- Related work experience, specifically in geriatrics, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing, and/or completion of a course in geriatric nursing is an asset
- Demonstrated skills in planning, coordinating and supervising others
- Good physical/mental health with a mature and professional attitude
Conditions Of Employment
- Successful completion of a police record check with vulnerable sector clearance (completed within the past 6 months).
- Satisfactory TB documentation (completed within the past 12 months.
