Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels and report any shortages or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Order Fulfillment:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently based on customer specifications.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation for outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule shipments and coordinate deliveries.
Warehouse Organization:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Arrange and stack products using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Optimize space utilization and implement efficient storage methods.
Quality Control:
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Identify and report any product defects or packaging issues promptly.
- Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of damaged or defective items.
Equipment Operation:
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage.
- Adhere to proper safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to address inquiries or resolve issues.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve warehouse processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse operations are a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
